The washers protect sensitive surfaces from dirt, scratches and discoloration of the leveling system pull hoods. The way the washers work is simple: when laying the tiles with the leveling system, they are simply placed between the tile and the pull hood before it is screwed onto the threaded bracket. The washer has no influence on the leveling process.

The washers are available in a practical pack of 100. They can be reused several times. However, make sure that the washers are not dirty, otherwise they can damage or dirty the tiles. In this case, please discard the washer.

The tile leveling system is a simple, quick and uncomplicated aid when laying large-format tiles. It helps significantly in avoiding excess teeth and edges in the tile covering. You do not need any special tools for the application; the leveling system only consists of two components (threaded tabs and pull hoods). No pliers or guns are necessary.

The easy use of the tile leveling system:

• Step 1: Pull up the adhesive bed and place the first tile into the adhesive bed. Now place the threaded tabs along the edge of the tile under the tile. Depending on the side length of the tile, you will need one to two threaded tabs per side. Now place the second tile on top of the first one so that the threaded tabs are fixed in the joint between the tiles. The white base thread tabs have a width of 1.7 mm, which means you get a 2 mm joint.
• Step 2: Place the washers over the threaded tab so that the thread extends through the hole in the center of the washer. Now turn the pull hood onto the threaded tab. The washer is now fixed between the draft hood and the tile and protects the tile from abrasion. Once you have laid a few more tiles in this way, the draft hoods can be readjusted again.
• Step 3: Do this over the entire area to be laid and allow the adhesive bed to harden completely according to the manufacturer's instructions.
• Step 4: Now the reusable draft hoods and washers can be removed again. The base of the thread tabs remains in the adhesive bed and is jointed while the protruding threads are broken off in the direction of the joint and disposed of. You have now laid a perfectly laid tile floor without excess teeth or edges.
