The joint chisel is the optimal tool for chiseling out tile joints

The joint chisel is ideal as a correction tool. It can be used to easily remove old, unsightly or broken joints. You simply place the joint chisel on the joint and remove it by tapping the joint chisel with a hammer. When you have reached the lower end of the joint, you can chisel out the joint wide thanks to the wide head, which has a cutting width of 25 x 2 mm. Due to its width, you only have to do this in a few places or simply move along the joint and do not have to carry out the procedure countless times until the entire joint has been chiseled out, as with conventional chisels with a pointed, thin head. Due to its total length of 23.5 cm, the joint chisel is on the one hand not too big, so you can easily store it or put it away, but on the other hand, the length increases the leverage. With a smaller chisel you would have to use more force and would have less control of the chisel. The tapered tip makes it very easy to use and allows you to get into smaller cracks, getting under the joints better and making them easier to lift. This quick way of chiseling out the joints speeds up work progress. So you save yourself working time with the joint chisel , which you can then use for other things.
