The perfect notched trowel for laying large format tiles and slabs

With the buttering floating trowel, laying XXL tiles is even easier. We always recommend the buttering-floating method when laying formats larger than 60 x 60 cm. With this laying method, a thin contact layer of tile adhesive is applied to both the substrate and the back of the tiles. Make sure that no skin forms between the two layers of adhesive, as this can reduce the adhesion between the tile and the substrate. The buttering-floating process minimizes cavities under the tiles and significantly reduces the risk of damage.
